  • 1 large onion quartered
  • 1 head cabbage roughly cut
  • 3 large carrots cut in half
  • 1 1/2 cups beef or chicken broth i used broth the previously prepared roast.
  • 1/2 teaspoon himalayan pink salt (or salt of your choice)

Chop onions and saute briefly in power cooker. Cut the cabbage in quarters and add to the pot. Cut the carrots in half, I wanted the carrots to be chunky so they take longer to cook and maintain their firmness. Add to the pot. Add one and a half cups of broth. I used the Power Pressure Cooker 6qt. Set Power Cooker to 70% pressure and set time for 6 minutes. The cooker will build up to pressure (about 12 mins) and cook. Let rest for 5 minutes and then do quick release.
