  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • assorted crackers
  • 1 package (12 ounces) bacon strips chopped
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped sweet red pepper
  • 4 cups (1 pound) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
