Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a large mixing bowl combine pumpkin, sugar, eggs, milk, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg. Stir until smooth and thoroughly mixed. Pour pumpkin mixture into pastry-lined pie pan. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until set in center.
