  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats

Add oats and cook, stirring and tossing with 2 wooden spoons, until golden brown, 3 to 4 minutes. Spread granola evenly on a large sheet of foil to cool. Cooks' note:• Granola keeps in an airtight container at room temperature 1 week.
