Don't remember where I got this but it is delicious with fresh, garden, tomatoes.

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 6-8 fresh basil leaves torn
  • 6-8 beefsteak tomatoes sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise mix with cheddar

Slice tomatoes and arrange in pie crust in layers. Add torn/chopped basil leaves between layers. Salt and pepper on top. Mix mayo and cheese. Spread on top of tomato/basil mixture, making a pie. Bake for 30 minutes at 350. Let cool 10 minutes.
