I got this recipe from a friend at a square dance in Winterset many years ago. I use a lot more blue cheese than she did, but this remains an all-time favorite.

  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 4 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup onion minced
  • 1 oz. blue cheese crumbles or to taste
  • 1/4 cup green olives chopped
  • 1/4 cup black olives shoppe
  • pecans crushed
