1. Combine the buttermilk and hot sauce in a small bowl 2. Combine the flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder in another small bowl. 3. Heat oil over medium high heat in a medium frying pan - adjust as necessary. 4. Wash and slice 2 green tomatoes - slice to desired thickness. I try to get 8 slices from 1 tomato. Thinner slices will crisp up better. 5. When the oil is hot, dip the tomatoes in the buttermilk and then coat good with the flour on both side and put immediately into the frying pan. 6. Fry until crispy. Keep an eye on the tomatoes and when you start to see browning around the edge it is time to flip them. 7.
