This recipe is a combination of Mom's and Steph's, Mom always put ketchup in it to make it sweeter and Steph adds tomato sauce and adds flour to the meat to thicken it, so I do both!

  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • sugar to taste
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 tablespoons flour heaping tablespoons
  • 15 ounce kidney beans
  • 15 ounces pinto beans
  • 32 ounces tomatoes
  • 2-3 teaspoons chili powder
