  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 pinch kosher salt
  • 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 4 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresno pepper minced
  • 1 tablespoon capers minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil 1 tablespoon fresh
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 tablespoon fresh
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1 tablespoon fresh

I use fresh herbs from my garden when I have them. Dried works fine just give it a little more time to sit before using. Be careful with the salt as the capers will provide that. Whisk the ingredients well, cover and leave on the counter for about an hour. Whisk one more time. Check the seasonings and modify as needed. Serve. I like to eat with grilled meats or fish. Also quite good as an accompaniment to grain salads such as a quinoa greek salad.
