I had some peas left over and made this using mom's basic pea salad from the 60s

  • 3 t olive oil
  • 1/4 c sour cream
  • 1 c frozen peas
  • 1 c peas in pod snap ends and string, cut up
  • 1/2 c snow peas chopped
  • 1 t garlic paste
  • saute until frozen peas are dented
  • dump into bowl:
  • 2 strips bacon crumbled
  • 1/2 c sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 t ranch seasoning powder
  • 2 c prepared pasta
