Something I tweaked and pieced together to get a non tomato meatloaf.

  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 3/4 cup bbq sauce
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons sea salt
  • 3/4 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 4 ounces grape jelly
  • 4 ounces yellow mustard

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix all meatloaf ingredients except BBQ sauce well and place in a baking dish. Shape into a loaf. Top with BBQ sauce, preferably hickory smoked. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F.
