My personal recipe. I have made these as big as a 9" dinner plate for my grand kids grade school classes and the kids and teachers can't get enough of them. I even had a small restaurant in Fla. that sold them for a while.

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 package vanilla pudding 3.5 oz

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add pudding mix, eggs, vanilla and heavy cream. Combine flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
