  • 4 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 cup wheat bran or flaxseed
  • 1/2 cup cannola oil i use less
  • 3/4 cup honey

mix oats, bran (or Flaxseed) and wheat germ in a large roasting pan. Boil water and add oil and then honey. Wet all ingredients. Bake at 300 degrees. Start with 20 minutes at a time and then stir. Return to oven for 15-20 minutes. Stir. Repeat until granola is thoroughly toasted 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
