Paula Deen Brunswick Stew

Paula Deen Brunswick Stew
Paula Deen Brunswick Stew
Tastes just like Georgia Brunswick stew that i remember when i was a kid. The texture is more chunky but i like it this way. This makes a ton. Have to use a huge pot to cook in.

In a huge dutch oven or stew pot, melt butter and place chopped onion, red bell pepper and garlic in the pan to saute, until softened. Add broth, tomatoes, corn, lima beans, tomato sauce, bbq sauce and worcestershire sauce to the pan and cook for 20 minutes. Add the meats and seasonings and cook for an hour or more on low until thickened. Serve over rice if desired.
