1. Preheat te oven to 450 degrees F. Place a rimmed cookie sheet in the oven. 2. Drain and rinse a 15.5 oz can of chickpeas, patting very dry with paper towels. 3. When dry, toss chickpeas with olive oil and black pepper and salt. 4. Remove pan from oven, place chick peas on pan and return to oven. 5. Roast for 20-25 minutes, shaking pan half way through. 6. Eat right away as they soften over time.
