Season pork and chuck steak with salt and pepper. In a heavy bottomed large pot, beat oil, add pork, salt pork and chuck steak. Cook for 10 mins, turning to brown evenly. Add sausage and brown, remove meat and set aside. Add onions and garlic, cook 5 mins. Blend in tomato paste Add wine, scraping up bottom bits. Stir in crushed tomatoes and seasoning. Return meat to pot Simmer 2-3 hours
