  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 tsp. orange extract ( i use a squeeze of an actual oran
  • 1 tsp. orange zest
  • 1 c. applesauce

Add flour, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in one bowl. Cream softened butter and white sugar in another, then add squeeze of orange or extract. In small bowl mix baking soda and applesauce, mix into sugar mixture. Mix dry ingredients and then add slowly to wet mixture until it is mixed well. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.-3 small loaf pans = 28 min.muffins = 23 min.
