  • 1 carrot grated
  • 1 tablespoon sweet onion minced
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 6 ounce uncle bens long grain & wild rice
  • 2 cups boneless chicken cooked & cubed small
  • 1 cup milk or half & half
  • 1 can chicken noodle soup

Cook rice as directed on box. Melt butter in saucepan. Add onion & saute till tender. Blend in flour, then gradually add broth. Cook stirring constantly until mixture slightly thickens. Stir in; rice, salt, & chicken. Cook 5 minutes then blend in milk, noodle soup, & carrots. Simmer till heated through. Enjoy!
