This is a quick and easy side for breakfast or anytime! I like to make these and use them in sandwiches for the week for my husband. This is the only kind he likes.

  • 1 pound sage sausage (jimmy dean)

On a meat board, slice the sausage into six patties. Remove from wrapper. Press out into the size and shape you like. In a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat, add the patties. Cook for a couple of minutes and check to see if the bottom of the patty is getting brown evenly. If so, flip. Finish cooking until both sides are brown and the juice runs clear. Remove from heat. Serve hot or cold.
