This all purpose chicken is great shredded or cubed in any recipe. I use the same seasoning also to do just regular baked chicken in the oven for all purpose to go into salads, soups, etc. This yields about 6 cups to be used in a recipe immediately or can be frozen in portions for use later.

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt

Place chicken in slow cooker. Sprinkle chicken breasts with all the spices. Add chicken stock. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours. Shred chicken with two forks. Cool completely and if you want to freeze, divide into ziplock baggies.
