  • 10 cups water
  • 2 cups of rice
  • 2 sticks of mexican cinnamon broken into pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups of white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons mexican vanilla (i use molina)

Or strain through a cheesecloth Stir in vanilla and sugar and mix well Add the remaining 4 cups of water and 3 cups of milk and stir Store in refrigerator until cool. Best served with ice.
