  • 1 jar fav jar spaghetti sauce doesnt need to be fancy
  • 1 can diced/stewed tomatoes 16 oz can
  • 1 can tomatoe paste small can 8oz can
  • 1 large red onion
  • 1 large green pepper
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 cup white wine i used cheap pinot grigio
  • 1 cup fresh mushrooms, chopped optional
  • 1 lb ground beef/turkey cooked before adding
  • 1 piece bay leaf

Add all ingredients to a large pan. Cover Cook on LOW for as long as you can. I tend to cook for at least 4 hours. Stir every 30 minutes. After about an hour, I leave the lid cracked to let some of the moisture out and thicken the sauce. I hope you enjoy!
