This is a recipe I found on YouTube from Katzcradul. I just tweeked it a little for my tastes by adding chives, more onion powder, and adding buttermilk powder. It can be made into dressing or into a dip. It makes a 1 qt. jar of dry mix and about 16 servings.

  • 4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 4 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 cup powdered milk
  • 1 cup powdered buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup parsley flakes
  • 4 teaspoons dill weed
  • 6 teaspoons chives
  • 6 teaspoons onion powder
  • 4 teaspoons minced onion
  • 4 teaspoons brown sugar

Add all the ingredients to a small blender or bullet and mix well. Store in an air-tight 1-qt. jar. Dip: 1 cup mayonaise 1 cup sour cream 1 heaping tablespoon of the dry mix Cover and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving for the flavors to blend well. Dressing: 1 heaping tablespoon of the mix 1 cup buttermilk 1 cup mayonaise Cover and chill for 30 minutes before serving.
