Preheat your waffle maker. (I use a Cuisinart Classic - set between 3 and 4)In a large mixing bowl, stir together all the dry ingredients. Add in the wet ingredients, and mix until just incorporated. The batter will be lumpy - that is how you want it. Resist the temptation to get the lumps out.Pour batter onto waffle iron and cook until golden brown.Serve plain or garnish with fresh fruit, syrup, whipped cream, chocolate sauce, whatever you love! We used pomegranate arils, powdered sugar and maple syrup.
