- First wash the apples then pat dry. - Next peel, core, and mince apples. - Place the apples and water in a small tin or aluminum pot. - On high heat boil the apples and water. - As the pot comes to a boil measure out and mix the remaining ingredients (real maple sryup, and Cinnamin/Sugar) in a small bowl. - After the mixture comes to a boil, simmer apples and water for 8 minutes on Med low. - During the 8 minutes mix in real maple syrup and cinn/sugar. - Stir occasionally with a spoon or baking spatula to avoid burning. - Continue to simmer till done, the apple chunks will break down into sauce. - Let the mixture sit off the burner for at least 5 minutes before serving hot or cool to room temperature before refridgerating for later meals. - Best Kept in glass containers, but Tupperware is also usable. - Can keep in the fridge for up to a week, if you dont eat it all in one sitting!
