3 oz {22 oz} dark rum {gosling's is the traditional but we prefer sailor jerry's}
2 oz {14 oz} fresh squeezed lemon juice
4 oz {28 oz} ginger beer {like root beer but ginger!}
*you can always add a little more rum if you like
** one lemon will produce about 4 oz of fresh sque so you'll need 1/2 a lemon for a single serving and approximately 5 lemons for a 1/2 gallon {3 1/2 for the juice and 1.5 sliced for garnish}
