These were a kind of sweet pickle my grandpa always made. They are the only kind of pickle I like to eat.

  • 1 jar dill pickles sliced
  • 2 tablespoons whole pickling spice
  • 1/2 cup tarragon vinegar
  • 2 1/2 cup sugar

Drain pickles and place in a large bowl. Add sugar and vinegar. Stir until sugar dissolves. Place pickling spice in a small breathable bag. (I use a piece of t-shrit fabric and then tie the top with fishing line). Place pickling spice and pickles in a air tight container. These are best when you let them marinate for a week or so before eating them.
