These are an awesomely cool cookie. It's an Australian oatmeal-coconut cookie. I do have to admit, i dont' like how much oil is in these cookies but they are pretty good...

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup

1. Oven to 350 degrees f. 2. Soften the butter slightly. Cream in the maple syrup and then add the rest of the ingredients. 3. Roll into small balls and place well apart on a greased cookie sheet. ( These act like chocolate chip cookies and they'll spread.) 4. Bake for 15 minutes 5. Let cool on a rack.
