This is a recipe I got from my mom and tweaked it to improve the taste. It is a good recipe to serve with mexican food.

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 6 6-oz cans tomato sauce
  • 1 ea green pepper chopped
  • 2 6-oz cans water use sauce can
  • 2 cups rice long grain
