Keep refrigerated. These get stronger by the day and will keep a few weeks in the refrigerator. These quantities are for a half gallon canning jar. You can use any vinegar you like. I use white wine, cider or plain white.

  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 3 cups vinegar
  • 4 tablespoons dill weed dill seed or fresh
  • 3 tablespoons pickling spice
  • 1 each hot pepper fresh or dried
  • 3 each english cucumber or equivalent fresh cucumbers. sliced.
