Chef French Toast for ADHD

Chef French Toast for ADHD
A French toast where syrup really is optional... in fact, I really don't recommend serving this one with syrup! Folks with ADHD will also appreciate this recipe because it cuts out a lot of unnecessary sugar--which can aggravate ADHD symptoms.

Begin heating griddle over medium heat. BATTER: In a medium sized bowl, beat together eggs, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add milk and carefully beat into egg mixture. COOKING: Melt enough butter to cover griddle. Take slice of bread and dip each side into the batter and promptly place on griddle. Repeat until griddle is covered. Take a pinch of butter and place on the center of each piece of cooking bread. When butter is melted, flip the toast as you would a pancake. (If it is burnt, the heat is too hot.) When the other side is done, remove toast from heat. Repeat cooking process until batter and/or bread is exhausted.
