WAFFLE DIRECTIONS Grease and heat waffle iron. Combine all ingredients in mixing bowl. Pour 1/4 cup batter onto each waffle iron square and close waffle maker. After approximately 3 minutes (or until steam slows down), slowly open waffle maker and carefully remove waffles. RECIPE FOR 1 CUP* OF VEGAN BISQUICK: Mix 1 cup flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon shortening, oil, or melted (vegan) butter. *The waffle recipe calls for 2 cups Bisquick, so you would need a little less than double the vegan Bisquick recipe.
