Use a whole frozen chicken with chopped onion, garic, and Connie's Seasoning salt, paprika. Cook in crockpot till done. Then remove bones from chicken, and chop well, return back to broth. May need to add more water and broth. (I thicken broth with a little bit of cornstarch mixture.) ( Also you may need to add a chicken bouillon currently enrolled to the broth.) NOTE: if you are making your own broth like I do you won't need to use the canned chicken broth. If you are using canned chicken then you will need to use canned broth.
