  • 1 cup raisins
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp molasses
  • 1 12 oz bottle of dark stout i use guiness
  • 1/2 tbsp darkening sauce
  • 2 tbsp strawberry jam
  • 3 tsps baking powder
  • 3 tbsp powdered cinnamon
  • 1 tsps ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsps ground ginger
  • 1 6oz packet orange flavored crazins
  • 1 6oz packet crazins

1. Warm Stout on low flame. Add browning sauce, sugar, Molasses, jam, honey and butter. Stir until dissolved. Let the mixture cool down to room temperature before proceeding. 2. Sift together all the dry ingredients. Mix in dried fruits.. Add melted beer mixture. Mix together. Pour into two greased bread pan. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 1 hour.
