This is a banana bread recipe that I have been using for years. It is my grandma's recipe (Nadine S. Egg)

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 2-3 bananas mashed
  • 3 tbls sweet or sour milk
  • 1 tbls melted shortening (or oil)
  • 1/2 cup nuts (optional) chopped
