  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup sugar (i sometimes use 1/3 to 1/2 cup)
  • 2 package dry yeast
  • 1 while egg beaten

Type of Cookware needed: Saucepan, small bowl, large bowl, cookie sheet (lightly greased) Instructions Scald milk. Stir in sugar, salt, & butter. Let cool. In small bowl, mix warm water & yeast and stir until dissolved Add to the cooled milk mixture Add beaten egg and stir in flour 1 cup at a time until smooth Cover and let rise 30 minutes Punch down Shape into rolls and place on lightly greased cookie sheet Let rise 30 minutes & bake 15 minutes @ 400 (or 325-350) degrees until done Serve warm with real butter. YUM!!!!
