(from the Sanyo Bread Factory Book) I use the raisin bread setting, and add the chips at the beep. If your machine mixes well, you may have chocolate bread instead of chocolate chip. I had a problem that my bread didnt rise when I switched brands of chocolate chips. I dont know why, but the paskez brand worked fine while the store brand didnt. Maybe coincidence...
