  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 5 quarts popcorn popped

Combine all ingredients except soda and popcorn. Stir over medium heat until it boils. Let boit 5 minutes. Preheat oven 250. Remove mixture from heat and add carefully add soda. Pour over popcorn and stir until well blended. Put in oven for 45 minutes. Stir every 15 minutes. Cool and store in air tight container.
