One of Gram's recipes - I think she wrote it down while she was at work. It's on the back of an attendance slip from the HS she taught at. So based on the type font of the slip, this is from the early 60's I think. The recipe is a bit weird. You'll see what I mean.

  • bread crumbs
  • dash pepper
  • 12 oysters
  • melted shortening

Coat oysters w/flour, salt and pepper in order given. Place on baking sheet. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes or until brown.
