My s-i-l Carol L. was kind enough to share this recipe with me after I tasted it one Thanksgiving at her house. It's been my favorite way to serve cranberries ever since.

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup celery chopped
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped
  • 1 cup canned crushed pineapple drained
  • 3 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2 small boxes cherry jello (i use sugar free)

Cook cranberries, water, and sugar 10 minutes or until berries are soft. Add Jello. Cool, then place in fridge. As mixture begins to thicken add remaining ingredients. Chill until firm.
