My kids favourite meal in a minute. They wanted me to post it. I grew up on it - and honestly - I can't stand it - but they LOVE it and ask for it every time I ask them what they want for supper. One of the best things about it is, my 6 year old can make it.

  • 3 cups water
  • 3 cups instant rice
  • 1 1/2 cups raisins (more or less to preference)

Stir together in large microwaveable bowl. Cook on high for 6 - 7 minutes - until water is absorbed and rice is fluffy. Dish into bowls - add milk like you would for cold cereal. Top with brown sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon.
