My dad always made this for me and i loved it. Its not spicy at all but its still good.

  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 pound ground beef browned
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 6 ounce tomato paste
  • 56 ounce diced tomatoes
  • 45 ounce dark red kidney beans rinsed
  • 18 ounce spicy v8 juice
  • 1 dash crushed red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon organo

1) Brown ground beef. 2) Drain and rinse kidney beans 3) Rinse and dice green pepper 4) Chop onion 5) Combine kidney beans, diced tomatoes, green pepper, onion and ground beef in slow cooker. 6) Add tomato pasta, V8 juice and mix in seasonings 7) Let cook for 8-10 hours on low or 4 hours on high.
