Mix starter, water and sugar together.Add flour and salt.Mix until dough forms a ball. You'll have to use your hands to finish up forming the ball.Place in a greased and floured bread pan 9 x 5½ x 3 inches or a 10" Dutch oven (no need to grease or flour).Cover bread pan with a dishcloth or your Dutch oven with the lid.Place in a warm location.Allow to rise until doubled in size. This will take several hours depending on humidity and room temperature.Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes, uncover the last 5 minutes to brown crust.Add starter, water and sugar to bread machine.Add flour and salt.Turn on to white bread setting.Use rubber spatula to scrape sides of pan as it mixes to help dough form a ball. Dough should easily pull from sides of pan. If it looks to dry add a tablespoon of water at a time to pan. If it's too moist add a pinch of flour at a time until dough easily pulls from sides. Now sit back and let the machine do it's magic.
