  • 4 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 can corn kernels (450g)
  • 25 grams butter
  • 400 grams fresh white fish (i use lemonfish) diced
  • 150 grams shrimp
  • 2 medium carrots peeled diced
  • 2 large potatoes diced, not peeled
  • 2 small kumara (sweet potato) diced, not peeled
  • 2 small onions diced
  • 2 teaspoon fresh thyme (dried ok as back up)

1. Cook fish in butter over a medium heat in a large saucepan and set aside 2. Add all other ingredients to same saucepan and simmer gently (covered) for 30 min (stir regularly) 3. Add fish back in and simmer for further 5 minutes Remove bay leaves and serve
