Method:Have all your ingredients ready at room temperature.Cream the butter and both the sugars just until well combined. Do not over cream the butter/sugar or you will have crusty spread out cookies.Add in the eggsMix in VanillaNext goes in the sifted flour, baking soda and saltAdd in the chocolate chips & nuts if using.(Please note: for nut free baking or baking cookies kids please avoid adding nuts as some kids are allergic to nuts )Once incorporated.. this is your cookie dough.If the dough is too soft to handle. Chill in the fridge for about 15 minutes.Then using a cookie scoop or two tablespoon - drop the cookie dough onto to a baking sheet.Chill the cookies for 15 minutes before baking so they don't spread too much.Bake in a preheated oven at 170C/340F for about 10 to 12 minutes.
