  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 7 slices bread trimmed, crumbled
  • 8 oz. sharp cheese grated
  • 3 strips bacon halved

Trim crusts from bread. Crumble. Mix bread and cheese and spread in bottom of greased 7 X 12 flat baking pan. Mix eggs, milk, salt, pepper and dry mustard together. Pour egg mixture over bread and cheese. Put bacon strips on top. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Make a day ahead and refrigerate.
