  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 pound dry pinto beans
  • 16 oz bbq sauce any flavor (i like mesquite)
  • 3 tbsp louisiana hot sauce
  • 1 green bell pepper chopped fine
  • 1 yellow onion chopped fine

Rinse beans and soak overnight. Drain beans and rinse. Boil beans for 1 hour until tender. Drain. In a 9x12 baking dish, add all ingredients except the beans. Mix until uniform. Add beans and mix thoroughly. Bake at 400 F for 45 minutes until browned and slightly dry.
