We love hummus and I have heard it relatively easy to make so I thought I would try it today. Wow! I needed an easy button! That took no time. This may become one of my new go to summertime party appetizers.

vegan vegetarian white meat free tree nut free nut free gluten free red meat free shellfish free dairy free pescatarian
juice of one lemon
2 tablespoons fresh parsley
16 ounce can garbanzo beans (14-15 can chickpeas) drained
2 tablespoons of tahini (sesame or sunflower seeds)
4 cloves of garlic (fresh and peeled)
1/3 cup roasted red peppers (if using jarred drain the peppers)
Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor until creamy smooth. Cover and chill until serving. This is awesome with chips and crackers or try serving it with your favorite veggies!
