  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup butter shortening can be used as well
  • 4 bananas very ripe
  • 3/4 cup pecans i prefer pecans but can be any nut you choose

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat vigorously. Add mashed bananas, blending well, Sift dry ingredients together, add nuts and blend into above mixtre. Pour into a 9x9 baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
