Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Line cookie sheet or shallow baking pan with foil. Place the bacon strips on the foil side-by-side, making sure they don't touch. Bake 15 - 18 minutes or until desired crispness. For thick bacon: Heat oven to 375 degrees and cook for 10 minutes on each side or until desired crispness.
